Preface

        What was the most miserable incident happened in your life? Being rejected by girls? Flunked your school test? Not having enough money to buy a LV or Gucci handbag? If these are your answer for my question, you are probably the kind of person who had not experienced the true bitterness of life. Where is the authentic "Les Miserables"?

   It was not new to us. We knew that everyday there are thousands of Ethiopians or other Africans suffering from poverty, starvation and drought. They have insufficient food supply and poor hygiene which resulted in high infant mortality rate and low living expectancy .

     Terrorism endangered the world security and prosperity. The recent attack of the World Trade Center led to an endless fight between Iraq and the USA. Everyone wants peace, not war. What could war give us? Peace? Freedom? Or blood and deaths?

   When is the most disheartening moment in your life? To me, it was the moment when I was attending my grandfather's funeral. Had you ever experienced the taste of losing the one you loved? Please cherish whoever you have in your life.
