December 2006

In de laatste maand van het jaar hadden we een Belgisch mosselfeestje en speelden we rond het huis. During the last month of the year we had a Belgian Mussels Party and we played around the house.

Saman: 4 jaar/years,  Yekuno: 2 jaar/years

Yekuno lustte wel een paar mosseltjes maar Saman vond het maar rare dingen.  Frietjes daarentegen gaan er altijd wel in, liefst met veel mayonaise!  Dat was vroeger nog wel anders, toen hij liever rijst at. Yekuno appreciated a few mussles, but Saman thought they were too weird.  He preferred french (rather: Belgian!) fries, with mayonaise!  This used to be different when he was small and always wanted rice. 10/12/06

Ook zonder badje waterpret: gewoon 'douchen' met de waterflessen. Without swimming pool there can be fun with water: just 'showering' with the water bottles. 16/12/06

Drie jaar intuitief snoeien hebben vrucht afgeworpen: dit jaar een geweldige rozenpracht.  In het echt natuurlijk nog mooier, met geur erbij. Drie years of intuitive pruning have resulted in a wealth of roses this year.  In reality even more beautiful, with nice smell. 17/12/06

Binnen hebben Saman en mama samen de kerstboom opgetuigd.  Het is een enorm kitsch geheel geworden, vooral ook met de gekleurde lichtjes, maar de jongetjes zijn er erg blij mee en poseren trots. Inside Saman and mum decorated the christmas tree.  A rather kitschy result, especially with the colored lights, but the boys are happy with it and pose proudly. 17/12/06
