Huis, tuin en keuken plaatjes uit Addis Around the house in Addis

In de eerste maanden van het jaar 2004 vooral foto's met de gewone camera genomen, zodat we die met de voortgangsrapportage naar Sri Lanka konden sturen en ook om uit te delen in Nederland in mei.  Toch wat kleine plaatjes voor de continuiteit op het web. In the first months of 2004 we took most of our pictures with the normal camera so we could send these with the progress report to Sri Lanka and to give out to relatives in the Netherlands in May.  Still a few pix from the last months to have some continuity on the site.

Saman is 1 jaar/year + 6-9 m

Het duurde even voor alle inboedel uit Sri Lanka en Nederland aangekomen was.  Bovendien hebben we dit keer geen half-gemeubileerd huis dus moesten eettafel en -stoelen in Ethiopie gekocht worden.  Tot alles er was, at Saman op de grond, lachen! It took a few months before all goods from Sri Lanka and the Netherlands had arrived.  Moreover, this time we don't have a half-furnished house so dining table and chairs had to be bought in Ethiopia.  Untill everything was there, Saman ate on the floor, what fun! 4/02/04

Alle autos netjes op een rij bij de plantenbak. All cars neatly parked on the porch. 08/04/04

Was ik zijn badje aan het soppen, begint Saman spontaan en enthousiast zelf zijn fiets te wassen! While I was cleaning his bath, Saman spontaneously and with enthusiasm starts to wash his bike! 25/04/04
