Forever Fantasy - Final Fantasy IV Story

The Kingdom of Baron has been getting more and more aggressive in the last few weeks, and Cecil, the Captain of Baron's air force, the Red Wings, is beginning to wonder why. After raiding the village of Mysidia to capture the Water Crystal, Cecil confronts the King. The King likes in no way his commanders questioning his authority, so he strips Cecil of his command and sends him to Myst with a package. Kain attempts to help Cecil, and so he too is sent on the mission. Cecil and Kain deliver the package to Myst, only to find out that it was sent to destroy the village. As they rush through the village, they find Rydia, who is none too happy about the two of them killing her mother (albeit inadverttantly) and then destroying her town. She calls a titan, who causes a mountain rending earthquake. Cecil and Kain are seperated, and the Dark Knight is left alone in the wilderness with Rydia. Cecil and Rydia go to a desert town and find out that Cecil's girlfriend, Rosa, is sick. They make the journey to Damcyan to get the Ruby to help cure her, and meet Tellah along the way. They all show up at Damcyan Castle just in time to see the Red Wings bomb it and take the Fire Crystal (*tear of infinite sadness*). During the attack, Tellah's daughter Anna is slain (*tear of even infiniter sadness*), and he attempts to kill me, the lovable Prince of Damcyan. Anna wasn't quite dead yet, though, and tells her father to take his vengence on Baron and not me. So, I join the party to hunt for the Ruby. We get it and save Rosa. Next, we go to Fabul to try to help them defend the Air Crystal. We find Yang in pretty bad shape, being assailed by monsters. We save his Karate-kicking tail and hurry to Fabul. The Red Wings show up shortly thereafter, and battle insues. *takes long drink of water* Sorry, tale telling is thirsty work. We lose the battle when Kain shows up and turns on Cecil. Much to the pain of the world, I am injured in the battle (I think). So the King of Fabul gives the rest of the party a ship to try to attack Baron. On the way, Leviathan attacks the ship and the party is scattered. Cecil ends up near Mysidia, and boy are they pissed off at him. The Elder tells him that he must go to Mt. Ordeals if he ever hopes to defeat true evil. He sends Palom and Porom, the Twins of Mysidia, to hel..., ah forget that, to spy on him. On Mt. Ordeals, the group meets up with Tellah, who is trying to learn Meteo so he can take his vengence. Onward the valiant company. At the summit of Mt. Ordeals (clever name, by the way), Cecil finally becomes a Paladin and Tellah learns all his forgotten spells. So they go back to Mysidia, and the Elder is very impressed. I think he gave Cecil some cheese, or something. Well, now that he's a Paladin, Cecil feels he can pretty much take Baron by himself. Well, the three wizards might help a little. So off they go to Baron. There they find that Yang is now the captain of the guards and also that he wants to kill them. Some gratitude, I tell you. Well, they knock some sense into him, and then use his key to use an underground passage to make their way secretly into the castle. When they finally reach the King, it turns out that he's been dead for quite some time and the water fiend had taken his place. Well, thanks to Tellah, they make short work of him. Then Cid shows up to give the "King" a piece of his mind, only to find out that Cecil and Co. already did him in. So they go to find the Enterprise, Cid's greatest airship, when they get locked in a corridor and Palom and Porom turn themselves into stone to save the rest of the company. (See a great screenshot from the fmv here). So, they make it to the airship and take off, when the Red Wings approach, bearing a white flag. Kain then tells them that Golbez has Rosa held captive, and he'll only let her go in exchange for the Earth Crystal. So the company goes and fights the Dark Elf and borrows the Crystal from the elves. They take it to exchange for Rosa, only to find out that they were double crossed (who didn't see that coming). They manage to escape, and they go to Eblan and meet Edge, the ninja prince. His parents have been kidnapped, and he's vowed revenge. So he joins the party and they find out his parents are now horrible monsters. Next, they find that there is a spaceship going to the moon. So they take it. There they meet FuSoYa, the Lunarian who explains everything, including the fact that Cecil and Golbez are brothers. After a lot of fighting, the party defeats Golbez, only to have to face Zermous, the baddest nasty of them all. They defeat him and the world is saved. *passes out*
