| Final Fantasy IX was a tribute to all the games that had come before it in the series. It was also a way of saying goodbye to the old style of games. I hope that there are more medieval settings in the future FFs, but I doubt it. FFIX marked the end of an era. It is, though, a great game. Fans of the series can see the obscure references from all the way back to the original, while gamers new to the series can find a unique and wonderful game. |
