Requests

To be honest, I run out of ideas. There are so many characters and ways to present them, I just don't know what people want or need. So I tend to get whatever tickles my fancy, hence galleries for Mego dolls and the Super Friends. :|
And because of my lack of imagination, the Freedom Studio always happily accepts requests. Particularly, ideas for galleries or themes, i.e. superhero teams (Avengers, JLA, etc.), artists (Jim Lee, Bruce Timm, etc.), and themes (Marvel Universe heroes, Comic Book Cinema, etc.).
Simply contact me via AIM (username "MightySchlomo"), email, or Freedom Reborn (username "Schlomo").
Note: Unless asking for a series of just one character (like I've done for Captain America, Batman and so on), please don't ask for a single character. If I made just the one portrait I'd wait till I found a new gallery to put it in, and who knows how long that would be. Not to be snide, but if you just need one new portrait, make it yourself. :) It's easy.
Please include links to pertinent art sources; requests not accompanied by at least a few links to source art will not take precedence.

Submissions

It's a lotta work tracking down art, creating portraits, creating galleries, uploading them and so on. Anyone who wants to help will be well received.
As stated above, I'm looking for galleries arranged by themes or topics. Anyone who can create one is encouraged to send it along (contact information above), and I'll add it to my big dogpile of portraits waiting to be loaded.
At this point I'm looking primarily for comic book art, particularly art featuring characters that are under-represented in the galleries so far. That is, I have a thousand Spider-Man portraits, but no, say, Matter-Eater Lad, and that's who I'm more concerned with. Also, read over my Portrait Tutorial to make sure we're on the same page. It has a few simple tips that will get you started well.
Most of the portraits I make or receive are weeded out, so don't be offended if quite a few aren't posted. I mean, two-fifths of what I create myself are eventually deleted, either for not looking quite right or because they're redundant and just aren't needed.
Arrange the portraits in a plain and organized manner, with separate folders for each theme or topic you intend, much like I have them in the galleries now. Don't worry if your idea has already been posted; there are always additional galleries, I just number them and all. Still, the goal is variety, not volume. Also, clearly name each portrait 'cause there are some characters even I'm not familiar with, and instead of placing them in the wrong gallery I'll be more apt to delete them. Other than that, be creative and thanks for helping!
