| It's Bloody Raining Outside | ||||
| At the Inn of the Prancing Pony (ooh, haven't used that setting yet *g*) Strider is sitting at his table, looking pale and tragic (no, that's not the quote, we just couldn't resist tossing it in *g*) when Sam walks over to him. Sam: "Why are you all alone over here, Mister Strider?" Strider: "I walk alone in this world except for the grilled cheese sandwich that it in my pocket." * * * In the Mines of Moria Gandalf: "In this place we are surrounded by danger and madness." Aragorn (clapping his hands together in glee): "Ooh, I like madness." The rest of the Fellowship look at him and take two steps backwards. Aragorn (looking at them in confusion): "What?" * * * In Rivendell Aragorn has just been discussing his future marriage to Arwen with Elrond. Elrond: "Just remember, Estel, kings come and kings go, but one thing remains the same." (flashing him the go-to-hell-of-Rivendell glare) "And that is me." * * * In Rivendell, again Legolas: "Aragorn, I think I'm going to go and buy some new clothes before we have to leave with the Fellowship." Aragorn (crossing his arms): "Don't you dare come home with anything made from spandex, lycra, dental floss or anything else you see in those rump-shaking videos." Arwen (glaring at Aragorn and crossing her arms as well): "What rump-shaking videos have you been watching?" Aragorn (turning puppy-dog eyes on Arwen): "Ah, come on, baby. You know the only rump I watch is yours." The effect is ruined when the Ranger's eyes follow Legolas' bum as he walks out of the room. * * * In the wilderness, somewhere A group of wandering minstrels suddenly appear out of thick air (got tired of using thin air *g*) and begin singing about the Fellowship's quest. Aragorn and Boromir look at each other, smile, and pick up a protesting Gimli. They then proceed to swing the dwarf between them before tossing him into the midst of the minstrels. Aragorn and Boromir: "Curse you, wandering minstrels!" * * * In the wilderness, yet again Sam is crouched over a campfire, cooking something in his "frying pan of DOOM." Pippin walks over and takes a peek into the frying pan. He then looks up and glares at Sam, turning his nose up at the contents of the frying pan. Pippin: "I don't like SPAM!" * * * At Helm's Deep, in the middle of the battle Legolas looks over at Aragorn, and does a double take, almost dropping his bow. Legolas: "Aragorn, why are you dressed like a French maid?" Aragorn (glancing down at his small, black dress): "To confuse the enemy." Legolas (frowning and crossing his arms): "Confuse them? There's just more of them coming." Aragorn: "They're expecting us to be wearing tunics and armor, but who's expecting this?" He then proceeds to flounce around, the black skirt swirling around his legs. * * * In Rivendell, yet again Aragorn: "You know those three little words that are so hard to say unless you really mean them?" Legolas (smirking at the Ranger): "Is Father home?" Aragorn (exasperated): "No! I love you." Legolas (slinging an arm over Aragorn's shoulder): "Ah, you're just feeling a little vulnerable right now." Aragorn (pulling away from the elf): "I need to take a little walk now. I'm gonna go find Arwen." * * * In the wilderness, once more Legolas, dressed once again in his schoolgirl outfit with pigtails, comes stomping through the trees, Boromir on his tail. Legolas: "No! Get lost!" Boromir (pleadingly): "But, Leggy..." Legolas: "Men! You're all the same. You think 'No' means 'Yes' and 'Get lost' means 'Take me, I'm yours.'" He leans closer to Boromir and bats his eyes at him. When he tries to move away, Boromir grabs his wrist. Boromir (throwing the elf over his shoulder and walking away): "Okay, sounds good to me." * * * Later... Legolas, still in his skirt and pigtails, is sitting against a tree with his hands tied behind his back. Legolas: "Get off me! I'll have you know that's my knee you're straddling." He starts trying to wiggle away. "This is wrong. Wrong, I tell you, wrong!" A scuffle is heard, and after a moment... Legolas: "Wrong me, wrong me! Wrong my brains out!" * * * Even later still... Aragorn walks through the trees and notices Legolas sitting against the tree, hands still tied behind his back. Aragorn: "I'll save you, Legolas." Legolas (looking down at the ground): "I don't want my freedom." * * * On to the answers On to Chapter Fifteen: Whose Quote Is It Anyway? |
