Autobiographical Project is due between September 14-21st.  Students received a handout with the five parts necessary for completion last week.  All five parts must be completed for an "A"; 4 parts for "B"; 3 parts for "C"; 2 parts for "D"; 1 part for "F" (students made corrections on their handouts).  Bonus activities will only add a "+" to the grade.  For example, complete 2 parts and 10 bonus activities... the highest grade you can get will be a D+.  Students also received "Language Arts Activities for Computers 5-8" Handout last week.

Make-up Quizzes will be administered on Thursdays during Homework Club.

Spelling Quiz scores can be improved by taking the mis-spelled words, and identifying a strategy for the student to remember the correct spelling.  Write your strategy on a separate piece of paper, staple it to your quiz, and submit to Ms. Felicia.  Some examples on page 1 of this week's bulletin

Late Work Grading Change. You will receive one tick for each late assignment.  The total number of ticks for each category (homework, classwork, projects, etc.) received at the end of the quarter will be subtracted from your total number of bonus points for that same category.  If you have no bonus points, or there are ticks remaining after being subtracted from the bonus points, those ticks will be reduce your class participation grade.
