Words/ Concepts to Know:
scale: 8 notes per octave
octave: 8 notes
arpeggio: a broken down chord
keyboard: an electronic piano that in our case uses AA batteries
fingering: which fingers to place on keys for scales, etc.
Major scale: starts on the note it is named after with the patter WWHWWWH
W-W-H-W-W-W-H: the pattern for a Major scale
sharp: represented by #, it is half a step above a note
chromatic: playing every single note
C-Major: starts with C, no sharps or flats
D-Major: starts with D, with two sharps
E-Major: starts with E, with four sharps
chord: play more than one note at the same time
flat: represented by b; half a step down from a note
