• THE WEDDING •
Saturday, September 24

It's wedding morning and Patty and Clint are ready for their
day. They went upstairs to visit with the Tates whom
they haven't seen in ages.

Laurel took Mom to her hair appointment. There
was a little bit of stress when her usual hair dresser
didn't show up, but Michelle saved us. That was a close one!
Mom was amazing at keeping her cool.

After the hair appointment LaMar delivered the wedding
flowers. Here is Mom's charming bouquet.

LaMar had previously met Sarah and Susan.

This was the first time to meet Linda.

Two more Davis children arrive. Here is Natalie, Aunt
Natalie to baby Jane. Mark Davis is around here somewhere!

Mom and Andie discussing the corsages.

What? More laughing?!
Sarah, Susan, Linda

What would an occasion be without
Michael the Super Vidman?!!

Breanne was the appointed bow maker
making bows for the outside of the church.

Michael taking Jane for a little ride--Weeeeee!

This one gets me every time.

Michael and Jane in a quiet room away from all the hubbub.
He spoke quietly to her and she did a lot of cooing back. Very sweet!

David and Craig

Michael and Andrea

Time to dress the bride

Patty and Sarah hovering around Mom.
It's about time someone hovered around Mom after all
the brides she helped get ready for their weddings.
Oh look, there's a picture of Mom and Dad on their wedding
day in the background. Do you see it?

Patty clasping a necklace
Laurel expertly supervising

A little hug in the mirror for the blushing bride

Noticing pictures of Mom and Dad on their bookcase

Laurel pinning Karen's corsage on.

Kathy pinning Sarah's on.

Michael is ready to go

Andie and Roger are heading out the door.
It's almost time!!!

Mom looks like she has no intention of backing out.
She looked so very happy today. If she was stressed
with details and noise she didn't show it a bit. What a gal.

Here is the stake center around the corner where the marriage
was about to take place.

Breanne hugs Kathie Tanner, one
of our other Woodland Hills mothers who
has also retired to St. George with husband Bob.

Jennifer looking adorable while giving the
photographer a taste of her own medicine.

Another retired-to-St. George-couple-from-Woodland-Hills,
Le and Gordon Landgren.
How great to have long time friends here today.

A picture table showing the Redd and Fox families,
including a nice new portrait of Mom and LaMar.

We begin to meet the fabulous Fox boys.
Here is Mark Fox.

Chris Fox is making Linda and Sarah laugh.

Michael and Grandma Heder (we call her GG, short for
Great Grandma to our children). She is the proud mother of the bride.

David Barker who will perform the wedding.
He is a bishop in West Valley City, UT.

More familiar faces; our Aunt Billie Clinger,
Nadine Tate, Ken and Charlotte Shepherd.
The Shepherds were our neighbors on "Mormon Hill"
in Woodland Hills, lo those many years ago.

Oh my, the happy couple has arrived!
As a dutiful daughter I told Mom what she
told each of us on our wedding days,
"It's not too late to back out."
They laughed at that one as they politely mowed me over.

Roger videoing

LaMar (with grandson) and Mom
ready to be married. Wow.

The Relief Society room panorama. David Barker at the helm,
Mom and LaMar seated front and center. How wonderful
that everyone has made the effort to be here on this special day.

Ward member Judy Rasmussen sings "The Very Thought of You."

David, in his down-to-earth humorous way warmed us all
with his comments and "reminders" for the bride and groom.
Since they already knew how to be married he gave
"reminders" instead of advice.

Everyone looks so happy.
Do you think the bride and groom are hearing a word David is saying?

Of course they are.

It's almost time for the good stuff . . .

. . . okay, here we go!

This picture is not for the faint of heart.
Mr. and Mrs. Fox look like they really mean it!

Exchanging the rings

Ah, it's finally done . . .
(LeRoy Willis, Mom, Coleen Willis behind John Cederlof,
LaMar, Julie Fox, Guy Fox facing camera)

. . . well-wishers abound.
(Coleen Willis, Mom, Gordon Landgren, Julie Fox and LaMar)

LaMar is speaking to his high school buddy, John Cederlof and wife, Nancy.
He and John used to play accordians together. Cool!

Ward members Linda Adams, and the Wilkinsons.
Garth Wilkinson was Mom's home teacher (until today)
and is in the branch presidency.

Linda with Ken and Char Shepherd

Nadine Tate and Karen

Mark and Natalie Davis,
our fabby BYU-I students

Ken Shepherd and Patty

Laurel and Mamacita remembering, for a brief moment,
our last night with Dad and how difficult that was for Mom
compared to the high in the sky she feels now . . .

. . . thanks to this guy here.

Their branch president President Dixon and Sister Dixon

The party is beginning to break up and relocate
to the luncheon at the Foxes' clubhouse.
Here are Grandma Heder, Clint, Judy and Dave Fox, LaMar's brother and his wife
