The Family Arrives Dinner the Night Before Wedding Day The Luncheon The Aftermath

What would a trip from San Carlos to St. George be without the Feddocks
stopping at their favorite bed and breakfast in Bakersfield--The Pimentels'?!
It's the perfect way to break up the long drive.

Beautiful St. George. The white temple against
the red rock is quite a view.

Mom's house--a welcomed sight

And who doesn't love to see this sign hanging on the garage?

The Feddocks were the first to arrive at Mom's.
She and LaMar waited for us to have dinner, how nice!
This was the first time we had met LaMar. It was all
very pleasant, just as expected.

After dinner we went over to see his house.
It's just around the corner so we walked.
I liked this clock in LaMar's office.

LaMar and Michael became fast buddies.
Michael was given a Samoan dollar bill and a coin.
He thought that was neat!

Michael, Breanne, Laurel, and Michael Feddock
with LaMar and Mom at LaMar's home.

It was getting late so we drove a few blocks to the Tates'
where we stayed for the weekend.

Recognize these two? Those are familiar faces alright!
Nadine and Willard Tate, friends from way back
in Culver City days and on through our Woodland Hills years.

Laurel and Michael went to pick up
Patty and Clint Kennington from the airport.
They live in Ontario, OR.

Breanne and little Michael playing with Legos.
This was a favorite of theirs for the duration.

Mom wasn't home from the grocery store yet. Aunt Patty began
making paper airplanes and twirly-gigs with little Michael.
She also let him eat her airplane cookies. Mmmmm!

Clint Kennington and Michael Feddock,
two sevenths of "The Brotherhood."
The Brotherhood is all seven of the Redd daughters'
husbands. They refer to it as an elite group to
which only seven men can belong.

Grandma Redd is home from her errands,
hooray!

Patty welcomes Mom.

This would be the only day we could go to the jewelry store.
Some of us simply cannot come to St. George without a visit.
Who should we find there but Sarah and Ron Pimentel! They
had just arrived in town and stopped at the jewelry store before
going to Mom's! It's all about priorities. That was a nice surprise.
Is it just my imagination or is Patty eyeballing the earrings and
Sarah feeling the necklaces while they are hugging?

Now, down to business

The brotherhood numbers are growing.
Here are Clint, Ron Pimentel, and Michael.

On the way back to Mom's Clint wanted to visit
the Santa Clara Cemetery to look for family names.

Those couples just keep a-comin'.
Here is Blair Davis from Newbury Park, CA.

His other half, Susan, is delighted to see Patty.

Clint greets Karen Barker.

David and Karen Barker from West Valley City, UT chat with
Michael and Blair. David is a bishop and will perform the wedding.

Miguelito is getting just the kind of attention he likes best!

Aunt Patty was so thoughtful to buy a pair of dream catcher
earrings for Breanne who didn't get to go to the jewelry store.

The Davis's daughter Kathy Davis Bullock drove all
the way from New Mexico with her 5-month-old baby, Jane.
Aunt Patty is holding her here.
