Yellow Leaf Ministries
Numbering only about 300, the Yellow Leaf people are one of the smallest tribes in Thailand.

Traditionally they have relied on hunting and gathering as their main source of livelihood. Trading with outsiders (kwal) has always played a part in their economy.

As slash and burn farmers took over more and more of the jungles in Northern Thailand, the Yellow Leaf people were forced to rely almost entirely on outsiders for their day to day needs.

Near Ban Huai York is a small village of Yellow Leaf, a little over one-hundred people. They relay on the Hmong village and are monitored by the Thai government.

HIM will minister to them through health and hygiene. The Gospel will be presened in Hmong. This village has been in existence since 1999 and speaks Hmong.
