I get a lot of questions about tagging, where to get fonts, how to use Paintshop Pro to do it, so I want to get as much info here as possible. Tagging is easy and fun once you learn to do it right. The only problem then would be what to put on your tags after doing your names and the names of your friends and whoever else asks for a tag. Well here are a few things to get you guys started.

Download pages:

Paintshop Pro 7 -- this is the program most used to make the tags we see on the Palace. You can download the latest version here. This is for a 30 day trial version.

Font Page -- Spoon sent me this link and it's loaded with font pages. You might want to get some fonts other than the default windows fonts for your tags, to give them some originality. Once you find some that you like you'll want to install them correctly in order for them to work. Here's how that's done.

1. Unzip the file.
2. Once the font files are unzipped, go to your Control Panel and click on Fonts. Then go to File and select Install New Fonts or whatever is the heading on yours. Once they are installed, they should be in your font file. They will be ready to use the next time you open Paintshop Pro.

Y2K's Tagging Instruction Page -- Y2k made this page and it has some really easy to use instructions on how to make tags, including some screenshots.

Pete's Tagging Instruction Page -- Yes you too can have tags like Pete's. A lot of you at Firebird's Forest know Pete and plenty of you have asked him to make your tags. Well now you can see how he does them. He included screen shots for every step in the process to "better teach you how to make them". These instructions are simple. Adam, who goes under various names, made one using the instructions and it turned out great.
