You want to know me, but you can't
I won't let you
It's not because of who you are
It's because of who I am
I am every emotion that screams to be let out
I am every cry that pleas for a kind word
I am every heart that longs for an honest embrace
I am not alone
I am everyone who has ever felt pain
I am everyone who has ever felt resentment
I am everyone who knows love isn't all beauty
I am human...

~ Cheated ~
I thought it funny when they asked
If i had felt cheated now that I've lost you
For I could have lost you
Only If i had owned you
The way I might own a coin
But you are another person
Traveling through life
And i was lucky just to have shared
A part of your journey
So how could i feel cheated
When there are so many
Who have never known you
At all

The night we never met
We walked hand in hand
Through the park
Laughing and talking
Paying no attention to the dark
We got some coffee
And found a place out of the way
Looking into each others eyes
Never running out of things to say
We played in the rain
Being silly and getting wet
Giggling at our memory
Of the line you used when we first met
We walked home and cuddled on the couch
Being warmed by the fire
Now enjoying the silence
Feeling the intense desire
The emotions ran free
No fears were set
I had the time of my life
The night we never met

Rain
My tears fall like a steady rain,
Trying to relieve the sorrow and pain,
My heart, lonely and empty inside,
Seeking a place for these feelings to hide,
I may gain control of the rain,
But the pain will allways remain.

A Whisper
We have been friends from the start,
You have allways been close to my heart,
I long for your touch and embrace,
Sadly for me this will never be the case,
I wish i could find another like you,
To keep me from being lonely and blue,
You have shown me what love can be,
Now i know what's missing in me,
I have a place that's empty inside,
A place that longs for love to reside,
I thank you for giving me this peek,
Atleast now i know what i seek,
You have given to me, so very much,

You're untouchable
Your shield is me-proof
I knock....
But you won't let me in
I cry....
But my tears shatter like glass On your protective wall
Who are you in there?
Is it really worth hiding?

It pierces through my voice

I refuse to give up
This battle has only begun
The wall will come down

Is a murder still a murder
if done behind closed doors?
Just because you don't see
it, you think the faults not yours.
The pain is going on here,
most people do not see,
The public rarely see the
hurt, the pain of ones like me.
They think it doesn't
concern them, they shouldn't take the blame,
After all it's just a
product,
Another famous name.
It's vanity I die for, pure
human vanity,
The people don't care, they
look but do not see.
We are the unheard, unseen
and untouched,
We wait to die, our lives
don't mean much.
They're not like us, the
cruel people claim,
What they do not realise is
that we are all the same....
