In this page, I will briefly talk about the Top 15 in my mind, they are ranked by how much I think they should worth. Let's say a 10+ tracks CD should worth $100 and an EP should worth $60... That's how much a CD cost in Hong Kong, right?...I guess

1. Sing & Play
Sing and Play

This is definitely the most incredible album Faye has ever made, the reason it got the award "Best Award of the Year" in 1998 simply because of the 13 excellent songs and the unique packaging. This album contains element of Faye's own-compositions, love ballad, pop folk, and other kinds of music all together in the double CD set. I love all 13 songs so much that I would never skip any tracks at all, unlike sometime I would do to other CDs. Furthermore, the booklet is also the most beautiful one from all of Faye's albums. Faye is attached to different backgrounds like the universe, future-world, and dinosaurs. So flamboyant and "in"... Of course this is a MUST BUY album, if you miss this album, you missed Faye Wong! (haha, I'm writing too much here...but nothing I can do, this CD is so good!!)

2. Di-Dar

Rating: 6/6
As many people think Faye would retire after her "hiding" in 1995, Faye surprised them all with this superior Cantonese album. Many tracks from this album top the HK charts for weeks. "Scandalous" was chosen by DJs to be the most romantic ballad of the year, while "Di-dar" is to be the best alternative piece. I love this album so much that I could memorize all the lyrics and sing along in the first 2 days. The ten tracks flow perfectly from one to the next, this is also a MUST BUY Cantonese album!

3. Impatience

"La ja bor. La ja bor..." I felt in love with the title track the first time I heard it on radio, it's so COOL! No other singer have enough confidence to release such a album like this one, except Faye!! Many songs in here are lyricless, and Faye just used her charming vocal talent to express her feelings. Faye composed all the songs and wrote all the lyrics, expect 2 songs by Cocteau Twins. This album has to be the most meaningful one 'cause you can see how much effort Faye has put into it. My favourite tracks includes "Impatience", "Where?", "Abandonment"...etc

4. Sky
Sky
Rating: 5/6
This second Mandarin album of Faye is also one of my favourites. Although, there's not much alternative kinda songs in here, I really like the romantic string arrangements on "Chesspiece", "Devotion". I'm sure you will like it too!! "Angel" is also another must mention song which Faye herself loves as well, its rock background and Faye's vocal technique bring the music to a climax point! How wonderful!!! Other recommendations include "Sky" (and unplugged version) , "Unchange"...

5. Toy (EP)
Toy
Rating: 5/6
Just FIVE songs and it's at 5th place?? You know, this album contains the all-time favourite of the HKers..."Dated", which is chosen to be the song for valentine's days. Well, I don't like these slow songs very much, but I found myself fell into this song so much! The most romantic lyric ever wrote in Chinese history!!! The other four songs are every good too! "Undercurrent" has an unique dark mood; "Perfuntory" rocks; "Toy" makes you feel like becoming a child again; while "I Believe" has a mysterious feeling, and I like Faye's voice in here! (well, I like Faye's voice anywhere, haha....) I recommend all 5 songs here!!
