the secret of creativity

The students has different ways to present their idea. It can be through the art activity such as singing, dancing or even theater. One of the event which can present student's idea and creativity is School Production or SP.
School production is one of the big event which held annually by SMAN Sumatera Selatan (Sampoerna Academy). It is an musical theater which will involve most of the students.
Everything has impact while it's positive or even the negative side, including this kind of event too. So let see the positive side by holding SP it�s self.
First of all, it's one of the way for the the students to explore and improve their skill more and more. The students are not only trained in acting, singing, dancing, But also in other sides, like in management which consist of proposing, promoting, etc. To do this they can apply the things that they have learnt before. Say for example, grade XI and XII have learnt how to make a good proposal to find and persuade the sponsor and many other things. In addition, this event will invite our neighbor, yeah it�s other school and also societies which means we can have better relation among us. Moreover, students can refresh their mind from their tiring studying in the class but of course by doing the beneficial activity in the right time. Base on a psychologists research of Dr. Robert Epstein said that stress can kill the creativity of someone. And Harvard research said that high IQ and creativity might correlate wit one another. And the most important is it can stimulate the students to be more creative for their expert sides. Research has shown that enhancing student creativity may offer benefits academically, developmentally, and emotionally.
On the other hand, students are not really focus to their study during the school production practice. Besides, it will be difficult if the school doesn't have enough to support for the material or non material. This is the things which appear as the problem.
