Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology

• The Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology Program provides the student with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the art and techniques of these fields. The program emphasis trains the student to perform any hairdressing and cosmetology work.

• The Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology Program is aimed at persons, who are preferably over fifteen years old, and

1. Wish to acquire the necessary fundamental knowledge and skills to perform any hairdressing and cosmetology work.
2. Have as a goal to enter the hairdressing and cosmetology fields with their own salon establishments.

   Duration

   • The Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology Program has a one year approximate duration, to cover all subjects.

   • The art and techniques of hairdressing and cosmetology require progressive learning and skills development. Knowledge and skill level attained depend on each students learning abilities and skills.

   Schedule

   • The Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology Program is taught in flexible schedules to be agreed upon.

   Description

   • The Hairdressing and Basic Cosmetology Program is taught in small groups, allowing optimal individual attention of each student.

   • Schedule flexibility allows the placement of students in groups having similar learning abilities and skills, making possible certain degree of didactic homogeneity to be achieved.
