Malai chicken

Ingredients

Chicken-1kg
Oil-1/2 cup
Onion sliced-6
Cinnamon-1/2"
Clove-4
Cardamom-4
Garlic paste-1.5 tsp
Ginger paste-1.5tsp
Redchillie pd-2tsp
Coriander pd-1tsp
Turmeric pd-1/4tsp
Jeera pd-1tsp
Garammasala pd-1/2tsp
Milk-2cup
Green chillie slit -6
Tomatoes-1/2kg
Cream-1cup
Coriander leaves-1/4cup

Method

1. Heat the oil & fry half the sliced onions till light brown & keep aside.
2. Add the whole masalas & then add the remaining onions,fry till colour changes.
3. Add 1tsp each of ginger & garlic paste, fry till raw smell disappears.
4. Add the powdered masalas & fry without burning it.
5. Add the chicken pieces & cook for 5 min.
6. Add green chillies slit , milk &salt to taste.cook till gravy becomes thick. Remove from  the fire.
7. Cut the tomatoes & puree it in mixer with little water.
8. Cook the tomato puree along with the remaining 1/2tsp each of ginger & garlic paste for 3 min till the raw smell disappears.
9. Grease a vessel with little butter or oil. Now mix in the chicken & tomato mixture. Pour the cream over it & bake for 30 min.
10.Garnish with fried onions & coriander leaves before serving.
