Drywalling
Drywalling the Garage

We didn't drywall the house but we did try our hand at it.  We took on the garage and the basement.  In the process of these tasks we developed a sincere appreciation for the Rotozip tool.  No more measuring the exact placement of electrical boxes or windows, just loosely tack the sheet over and zip the around the edge of the box with the tool.  The cutout falls away and the rest of the sheet is secured on.  The basement took a little while to do as the floor was a bit too thick, and the walls an inch shorter than the sheets.  It also took 54 sheets to complete that job.

The boys from George Krahn Construction did a great job on the house, doing in 2 1/2 days what would have taken us weeks.   Hiring them for this and other sub-trades really paid off.

Seen in the photo is me measuring for the sheet, probably over the door.
