On Pern as it is described in the books, the main Farmerhall is located in Nerat. On Harper's Tale, the farmcraft roleplay goes on around the minor crafthall on Ista. Hosted by Grinstead Farmhold, the craft has available acres of premium fields. |

While the farmers do the regular farming work like plowing, seeding, harvesting and so on, the crafters are the 'scientists' of farming. Breeding new and better specimens of plants, improving techniques, and not the least - keeping the grub population on Ista high and widespread. |

Farmers though small is a growing craft and we don't just mean the plants we grow either. Join us today!

Search Policy
: All apprentices are open to search, with permission from any farmer leader, but you have to have been in the craft 3 RL months /first/. J-men and above are allowed with permission, but it's unlikely that permission will be given...

Cross-Craft Policy
People can cross-craft to Farmers; however, though because it's a second craft, only one rank is allowed, therefore denoting your position to the craft as an associate or student.
Should one decide they would like to cross-craft with the farmers, they should @send *farmstaff with the request, as well has obtain permission from their present craft leader. Also, a reasonable explanation for such a request is required as well.
