Why Say Goodbye?
Why say goodbye?
Why turn away?
Why say we won't see eachother;
after this day?

Why do you frown?
Why shed a tear?
Why do you bow your head,
as if in fear?

Why that hurt look in your eyes?
Why that look on your face?
Why do you feel;
as if this is the last place?
Why all the sorrow?
Why all the pain?
Why all the sadness?
Why again?

Goodbyes are not forever
They are not the last word
They are just something to say
Something to be heard

They are a continuation
A forwarding of what is to begin,
A promise, a hope
Not something to condemn

Goodbyes should not bring torture,
torment or dispair
Feeling of comfort and patience should
instead be presented there.

This is not the end.
This is not our last chance
For in this thing we call life,
It is only one dance.
So I say once more,
Why say goodbye?
To end this way, to make it final,
Why even then???
For You
I dream of us laying in a field of green
With the sun shining and lighting our scene
You are so beautiful and fruitful this day
And forever in this place with you I would stay

I look onto you as you gaze onto the horizon
You have a look that is all so suprising
A look of gratification
In this place you have found peace in its strangeness

The two of us alone in a scene so tranquil
It is what I wanted, my hopes fulfilled
I turn to you and tell you how I feel
But you press your fingers to my lips

Keeping my words at bay, so the words I skip
Just to see you here brings a tear to ease
It must not end, we must not leave
Here with you is where I stay

But the other world is true; no dream; no fake
So I close my eyes and take in a breath
I have made my choice and it was to death
A dream has to end sometime I believe

And death is forever, it would not allow me to leave
So today I will live in a world that has you
Keeping in mind the dream I've seen to make it true
In hopes that one day I could recreate it with you

The vision of you and I together again,
Gives me inspiration, motivation, and a place to begin.
