I want to ride my bicycle P's reasons for wanting a bike are much more simple: Keep Tammy happy. What a sweet husband I have. We decided that today was the day we would try and find our perfect bikes. We went to Rebel Sport first. Some lovely bikes there but given that we live on one income, they were all out of our price range. And even if we did have that kind of money, the fact that I haven't ridden a bike in ten years dictates the price we will spend anyway. It was at Big W that I found my dream bike. It met my two requirements for a dream bike: 1) It was not a sissy girly pink or purple and 2) It had a drink bottle holder and a drink bottle. P was very interested in getting the matching men's bike but they were out of stock. We decided to head out to Kmart and see if their range was any better. Unfortunately we couldn't even find a parking spot. And so once again, my bike dreams were shattered and I will live one less day without being able to ride a bike again. We haven't really made a plan for when we will try again. Perhaps I will add it to the January list so there is at least a deadline. Yes I think I will do that. Off now to make pizza for dinner. Yum! |
