There is so much beauty in nature it is not surprising what nature can do for us.

Here are a few beauty secrets....

Herbal Conditioning Oil

1/2 c dried Chamomile flowers 1/4 c dried Rosemary leaves 1/2 c Sweet Almond Oil 1/2c. Safflower Oil

Place herbs in double boiler and add the oil. Heat the mixture for 30 minutes and then pour into a wide-mouthed jar. Cover the jar with muslin and hold in place with rubber band. Let jar stand a week or so. Stir every day. When the oil has a pronounced aroma strain it into a clear container.

To use: Warm 1/3 to 1/2 cup of oil (depending on your hair length and thickness) over very low heat for a few minutes. Spread the warm oil through your hair with your fingers until it is fully coated. Cover and apply warm or hot towel. Treat your hair for 20 to 30 minutes. Shampoo as normal.

How to get rid of dead skin cells on your face...

Mix a small amount of baking soda and water and gentle pat onto face. Do not rub, this is an abrasive and stay away from the eye area. Rinse well with warm water. Face is left feeling smooth.

This also works great on your feet as a scrub!

How to relax the muscles in your face and keep you younger looking....

Bring to a boil rosemary leaves and stems in a small amount of water and let cool. Strain and store in a glass jar. Apply to a clean dry face before bed to relax tired muscles. Keep stress from showing up on your face. Keep your rosemary water in the refrigerator to insure freshness.

Keep your nails strong...

Apply Borage Oil to the nails. You can find Borage oil in the vitamin/herb section of most drug stores. Just brake open the soft gel vitamin, a straight pin works well... take care not to poke yourself. Apply a small amount to the nails. You can store the opened vitamin in sandwich bag. This can be applied twice a day.

For oily skin...

Fill a small maslin bag with Oatmeal. Submerje into warm water and use directly on face. Bags can be used two or three days, empty, cleanse maslin bag with a mild soap, allow to dry and refill. This is the best thing I've found for oily skin.
