Basics to know for any ritual or just relaxing bath.

Make a simple bath a releasing ritual bath. By visualization. While you soak see all your worry or problem drift out of you and into the ground. Pull into yourself the positive energy from above. Feel it flow through you and out of you let your worries go into the ground and pull the positive energy through you once more. Start at your head and let the energy swirl around you. Repeat this as you like but release the energy if it is too much. That is pore it out of you into the ground, let it go.

When your bath is done visualize your worry going down the drain, let it go. Let the positive energy fill you. It might be a good idea to shower off at this time. Try to go to bed right after your bath.

What to put the bath salts in? A nylon works well. But you could take a trip to the fabric store and pick out a special fabric and ribbon. The fabric should be a natural fabric. Something the salts can flow through but not the herbs. These make great gifts for special friends. Just make ahead of time and store in a glass jar. Wrap in clear plastic, you can find at the florist, and tie with a ribbon.

Incense

Incense

Important thing to remember about herbs is, they do have magical properties, but without your energy, the results are very ineffective. So keep this in mind when preparing your incense or working with herbs for any other reason. While you work the herbs visualize your intent. It is best not to work with herbs while sick, stressed or in a negative place. You don't want to project that into your magical brew.

Herbal Teas

General directions for tea:

Use dried herbs for the best results. For mixing there are no set rules. If you like a little more of one ingredient, add a little more. Otherwise mix equal amounts of all. Experiment, there are no rules, except stay away from the poisonous herbs. I will have a list for you soon.

Bring water to a boil. Fill tea ball with the mixture and steep for about three minutes. Remove the tea ball and enjoy. Add honey to desired sweetness.
