| Marines a poem by Rhonda Preece I guess I should explain myself for everyone to see, That this certain poem Was really for Jill and me. If you knew what we were going through You would surely shed a tear, For we don't know what to do With our men not here. They come for awhile In their camies and hats, So gorgeous and handsome, We want to attack. They fight for our country So proud and bold, In their dress blues All shiny and gold. Good luck to all the girls who have A man in the military, For it can be nerve racking, frustrating, And sometimes scary. But we consider ourselves lucky And proud with much esteem, Because we have men in the Few, The Proud, The Marines!!!! |
