This is Conan the Vegetarian, wearing a 15th-century tunic. Conan is inspecting his sword after digging in the garden in a frantic search for rutabagas. Conan looks strong, but he can be sent sprawling to the ground by a big gust of wind.
A dress and bodice from the 14th century.
This is the Scribe's first wife, Amazonia. Before the divorce they agreed to split everything evenly, which they did. She got 80% he got 20%! Amazonia is wearing a dress known as a Houppelande, a style dating from around the 14th century. Notice the dagged sleeves.
This dapper fellow's name is Baron Woe Isme. He's wearing the men's version of the Houppelande.
When Baron Woeisme realized that his castle needed repairs, he gave his sons a bag of gold coins and sent them to town for supplies. They returned with a "magical" three-legged goat. The lads are wearing 15th century brass-studded doublets, fencing pants and knee-high boots, which came in handy when the baron began kicking them in the shins.
"What a couple of knuckleheads! Everybody knows that a goat has to have five legs to be magical!"
