My final match was vs. PowerTurtle's Wood Elves. I received the ball and scored first. She returned the favour and the second half started with us in a draw. The WElfs scored again and I managed to get the ball out of the scrum around turn 6. By this time, I had heard that I was only one casualty away from equalling the high score for casualty cup and tried to thump any of the remaining wood elves on the pitch. I did a great job of sending them off the pitch but unfortunately only to the KO box. I lost the game and the casualty cup. The best moments from the match were: when my Khemri decided to throw a completion just to show the elves how it was done, when her elves showed that AG4 sometimes is worse than AG2 (she couldn't encourage them to catch for toffee) and my final blocks as I frankly punched like an elf and couldn't damage a darn thing. Fun finale to a great tournament. Stat line 1-2 loss with 4 - 0 casualties. |

During the breaks, people played other games. Not sure when this was, but the folks in the foreground are playing Fluxx and the ones in the background are playing Guillotine whilst waiting for the next match to start. |

The final was an ECBBL affair played between Blitzwing's Wood Elves and Geggster's Skaven. Blitzwing won in a close one in overtime. These were my only shots of the final as I wanted a picture of the pitch with all of the signatures on it and being used. The pitch has a new home on the Isle of Wight with Munkey. May he remember the tournament fondly with it. |
