Our participation in the 13th International Conference of Ethnomedicine in Munich. Germany, included doctors, ethnologists, neuropsychiatists, and scientists that work in the area of transcultural therapeutic management. These participants expressed their desire to take part in a direct and hands-on way in the  investigations they were introduced to at the conference, and the idea arose of making shamanistic proceedings, including sessions with ENTEOGENOS, accessible. “It is impossible to know the remedy if you ignore human nature” (Hippocrates). The objects is to  provide an integrating dialogue that would fill the epistemological spaces, referred to as “scientific” in allopathic medicine, and at the same time provide valid criteria concerning the pertinence of determined ethnotherapeutic procedures. In all cases, these sessions take into account medical support.
 
 

COLOMBIAN  ETHNOMEDICINE FOUNDATION and THE  SHAMANIC STUDIES FOUNDATION are entities that promote investigation and cooperation in related themes.
