CHARLOTTE — Coy Bullington, 90, of Charlotte died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in a Batesville hospital.
Born Jan. 22, 1916, at Newark, he was the son of Frank and Knoxie Price Bullington. He was a farmer and a member of Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Charlotte.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Florence Rawlings Bullington; four sons, J.O. Bullington of Harrison, Coy Wayne Bullington of Macon, Ga., and Charles Bullington and Jerry Bullington, both of Charlotte; a daughter, Louise Hadley of Memphis; 11 grandchildren, Michelle Fallis of Troy, Ill., Michael Bullington of Harrison, Stephen Hadley of Memphis, Eric Hadley and Frank Bullington, both of Jonesboro, Terri McNeill of Gray, Ga., Jon Bullington of Macon, Suzanne Baldridge of Greenbrier, Wade Bullington of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Jerry Lynn Bullington of Horn Lake, Miss., and Taylor Bullington of Fayetteville; 11 great-grandchildren, Shannon Fallis of Troy, Austin Bullington, Aaron Bullington and Elizabeth Bullington, all of Harrison, Payton Elizabeth Bullington and Sara Kate Bullington, both of Macon, Ryan Hadley of Memphis, Seth Baldridge and Kyle Baldridge, both of Greenbrier, Lily Bullington of Jonesboro and Kara Bullington of Horn Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Price Bullington; and a grandson, Charles Alvin Bullington Jr.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church east of Charlotte with Jimmy Thompson and Forrest Priest officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery east of Charlotte under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
