Chocobos

Chocobos are a way of transportation in FF7. They can be breeded from the yellow form to types like the black, blue , green, and Gold. When breeding, you will need to know if the yellow chocobo is good poor or great. This is a guide to help you get the most out of your FF7 chocobos. So read on to find out what you need, how to do it and a little on racing.

What You Need
»6 Chocobo Stables
»Female Great Chocobo
»Male Good/Great Chocobo
»Lots of Carob nuts
»2 or 3 Zeio Nuts
»Have Cloud Back in Party

Breeding Chocobos/Classes
When You are breeding your chocobos, there is 2 things to know. 1 is That the classes go as c,b,a then S. It is best to have an S class Chocobo because its offspring will be very good at racing. 2 is That you will need good, great or wonderful Chocobos to get other types of chocobos such as blue or green. good and Greats can be found at the tracks neer Mideel. Wonderful(most recomended) can be found in the area of Icicle Village. You will need to defet the enemys around the chocobo. To keep the chocobo bussie, feed it greens. YOU WILL NEED A MALE AND FEMALE CHOCOBO!

Nuts
Nuts are very important when breeding Chocobos. You will need Carob Nuts for the most part. Carob nuts are obtained by stealing from a dinosaur type area near Bone Village called the Vlakorados. You will need at least 5 just incase your chocobos dont make a non yellow chocobo. Zeio Nuts must be used when getting a Gold Chocobo. Zeio nuts area obtained by stealing from the goblins on Goblin island (run around in the forest area). You can also learn the enemy skill goblin punch from these enemies. Goblin Island is towards the north east of the map.

Blue/ Green Chocobos
When Getting a Blue or a Green Chocobo, you will need a great and a good chocobo. You breed them with a Carob Nut and hope everything goes nicly. Your chances will be raised if your Chocobo's is an S class racing Chocobo's. Blue Chocobos can go in rivers and shallow water. Green can go over mountains.

Black Chocobos
To get a black Chocobo, you will need to breed a Blue with a green, green with green or blue with blue. You once again will need to use a Carob Nut. Your chances will be raised if your Chocobo's is an S class racing Chocobo's. Black Chocobos can do Both climb mountains and go in rivers and shallow water.

Gold Chocobos This is the Best Chocobo in the game. You must breed a wonderful chocobo (found at icicle inn) and a black Chocobo. For this one you must use a ZEIO NUT.Your chances will be raised if your Chocobo's is an S class racing Chocobo's.Golds can go in rivers, over mountains and in deep oceans. Golds are the fastest chocobo , most stamina and all the other stats. It may not seem worth it, but it is fun to breed all of these.
