This is another one of the Final Fantasy games that everyone will always remember... Even if all of the latest Final Fantasy games are usually instant classics but FF7 is special. But, FF7 did deserve the hype all the way. But why didn’t other FF’s get this much attention? Well, FF7 was something new and exciting. It was Square’s first game on the Playstation, it was a three cd game, and It was the FIRST FF to be 3d. The FMVs were breath taking and people were expecting a lot from this one.Final Fantasy 7 succeeds in creating a lighthearted, fun feel when it is needed. It’s nice to be able to stop for a minute, catch your breath and take a break by snowboarding or helping moogles fly. This fun feel is what I missed in FF8.
It seems that an evil power company called Shinra, Inc. has found a way to mine this life energy, draining it from the earth, and using it to control the universe. Fortunately, a resistance organization known as AVALANCHE has vowed to put an end to Shinra's destructive practices. The story focuses on Cloud, an ex-soldier of Shinra, who teams up with AVALANCHE, and along the way encounters some very mysterious and powerful allies who help him fight against the deadly creatures Shinra has created to protect its empire.
