Due to an accident involving the Bossman, the "marriage" between Test and Steph was put on hold as Stephanie suffered from a short spell of amnesia and took a while just to remember who Test was. Due to an evil trick by HHH, Stephanie married the leader of DX. And in an (un)expected turn Stephanie turned on her dad and Test and joined DX. With the heartbreak of Stephanie turning against Vince both he and Shane disappeared from TV for a while. The new Hemsley-McMahon era reigned in the WWF at the end of the millennia. The new "evil" Stephanie looks great as the good girl next door gone bad. With the return of her brother Shane who has joined forces with The Big Show an uncomfortable alliance may be short lived. Stephanie took out her mother Linda prior to Wrestlemania 2000. In Wrestlemania Vince turned on the Rock to bring his family back together. Stephanie introduced her fitness trainer Muffy On Smackdown 4/13/00. Due to outside interference by fellow DX'ers Tori & X-Pac, Stephanie managed to somehow beat Jackie for the Women's World Title. She was forced to finally defend the title twice against Lita but interference first by Tori then by Trish Stratus allowed her to hold the title. A major feud with Lita (& possibly Trish) looms on the horizon so it looks like she'll be losing the title in the near future. On the Raw before Summerslam Stephanie lost the ttle to Lita - It seems like she will be focusing more on the Love Triangle with Kurt Angle & HHH. In a turnaround - Stephanie left Kurt alone and joined up solely with HHH, she quickly got into a feud with Trish Stratus when it was hinted that Trish was having an affair with VinnieMac.
