Este Batallón se comienza a gestar por
1979, con el incentivo y la inciativa del por este entonces encargado de
la pastoral juvenil Padre Vicente Martinez. Y viendo la problemática
juvenil del barrio se decide comenzar con un grupo con una metodología
parecida a los Scouts, los Exploradores Salesianos de Don Bosco.
Hablo con muchos jóvenes del barrio y del colegio. Llegando el año 1980
la Comunidad Salesiana decide darle mas respaldo a la iniciativa y el 15
de marzo de 1980 se hizo una pre-inscripción con un éxito inesperado, se
presentan 72 aspirantes, y de esta manera el C.E.R. (Consejo Ejecutivo
Regional) autoriza la apertura del Batallón. Inaugurándose un 25 de mayo
de 1980, con la presencia de las autoridades comunales de ese entonces, y
las autoridades máximas del clero de nuestra Diócesis y de la Congregación
Salesiana local, además de un imponente público. En dicho acto el Batallón
Nº43 es apadrinado por las autoridades comunales de ese entonces. Cabe
destacar que nuestro Batallón es el custodio de una enseña patria que
flameo en Malvinas y fue traída por el padre Vicente Martinez; también
tuvimos Visitas muy importantes como la del Rector Mayor de los Salesianos
Padre Egidio Vigano.
Pero tampoco todo fue alegría durante un par de años nuestro Batallón
permaneció cerrado hasta la llegada del Hermano Coadjutor Santiago
Chirsty, que comenzó a convocar a jóvenes ex - exploradores y
estudiantes del Colegio, con los cuales reabrió el Batallón en 1993.
La comunidad donde se desarrollará las actividades de nuestro Batallón
tiene una característica particular: no agrupa a un sólo barrio sino a
muchos de nuestra ciudad (Debido a que se trabaja con los Barrios Centro,
Jorge Newbery, Las Flores, La Floresta, 13 de Diciembre, Francisco
Pietrobelli, San Martín, Máximo Abásolo, y últimamente con
incorporaciones de niños y jóvenes de los barrios NIACO, 30 de Octubre y
de la Zona Norte de nuestra ciudad). *(Art.
Constituciones Salesianas ) Actualmente
el Batallón ronda casi los 160 chicos y chicas desde 10 años en
adelante. El grueso de los componentes del Batallón son niños y jóvenes
de edades comprendidas entre los 12 a los 18 años. También cabe destacar que se realizan diferentes experiencias como por ejemplo:

It is necessary to highlight that our Battalion is the custodian of a native emblem that I flame in Malvinas and it was brought by the father Vicente Martinez; we also had very important Companies as that of the Rector bigger than the Salesianos Father Egidio Vigano. But neither everything was happiness during a couple of our years Battalion it remained closed until the Brother's Coadjutor arrival Santiago Chirsty that began to summon to young former - scanners and students of the School, with which it reopened the Battalion in 1993. The community where it will be developed the activities of our Battalion he/she has a particular characteristic: it doesn't only contain to a neighborhood but to many of our city (because one works with the Neighborhoods Center, Jorge Newbery, The Flowers, The Floresta, December 13, Francisco Pietrobelli, San Martin, Maximum Abásolo, and lately with children's incorporations and young of the neighborhoods NIACO, October 30 and of the North Area of our city). Trying to counteract this reality the members of the Battalion of Scanners Nº43 Domingo Savio offers a different alternative: the integration to formed groups taking into account the age and the sex of boys and small and starting from the 10 years it stops ahead for the development of activities guided to their integral education. Taking as axis the Methodology Salesiana Exploradoril these educational ends is made through the game and the later reflection. Nuestro movement reaffirms its preference for the adolescence and poorer youth that he/she has less possibilities to be carried out, it is more exposed to the danger, and he/she has bigger necessity of being wanted and evangelized, he/she works mainly in the places of more poverty and in the popular atmospheres, so that they end up being able to judge rightly, of opting with freedom and of serving the siblings transforming the society. *(Art. Se ha participado y participa de los desfiles Cívico Militar - Exposiciones - Colectas Comunitarias (ej. para Tripulantes del Barco barado, Elinka el 31/12/98 - En Conjunto con los Scout y otras entidades para los inundados del Litoral y de Trelew) En
nuestro batallón se realizan otras actividades aparte de las del Sábado,
como Banda que funciona los días lunes y miércoles de 18 a 20 hs con un
profesor . |
