In my experience that each guitar has its own personality. Mainly because there are a wide variety of different styles, brands, and guitar hardware that goes into the factor. Also each individual player has his or her own opine on how their instrument should be. I have had people that couldn't play my guitar because the action was way too low. Like wise if they would just give me a few minutes along with their guitar I would crank all the settings down to as low as humanly possible, which goes to show there is no real right dimension or measurement to use. Only absolutely wrong ones that will never work or will be harmful to the instrument. So with this in mind I will give you a list of different settings that can be used
1.
Truss Rod Adjustment for Neck Relief. 2. Spring Tension to set floating bridges (if present) 3. Bridge Height to Set distance from the strings to finger board. 4. Saddle adjustment to set intonation Guitar Physics Different settings by measurements |
