i don�t completely hate cravens. sometimes they are great company if the crave is really boring. you can make new friends and contacts this way. if you tell them who you�re craving, 9 times out of 10 they�ll have some juicy gossip about that person. oh, the things i�ve found out from randoms!

but most of the time, randoms get in the way and you want rid. it especially irritates me when they don�t even LIKE the person you�re craving and are only there to get photos to show off to their mates. randoms have ruined my craves so many times and it�s even more annoying when they don�t even know the name of the person you�re craving, they just know them as �someone off the telly�

try to get rid of them if you can. but make sure you don�t piss them off cos they�ll stick around just to spite you and post hateful messages on the website directed at you. oh this has happened to me, my gang got such a bad reputation after that! best tactic to use is to act nice and chat to them, and after gaining their trust, slip it into the conversation that the person you�re there for has already left/won�t be leaving for several hours yet in the hope they can�t be arsed to stick around and will just go.

you could try a fake crave, but be careful as it could backfire. run after a random car waving manically at it, then pretend to look gutted and say �it was them!� then walk off down the street. if you do this in a believable way, the randoms will be fooled into thinking the celeb has just left without stopping and go home, leaving you crave in peace. result!

if worst comes to worst and they�re still about, try not to worry. if your object of cravedom is decent, they will realise who the true fan is and devote most of their attention to you. and if they spend loads of time with the randoms, hopefully they would have gained some new fans, which can�t be bad if they have records to sell or movies to plug.
