SEASON 1998

1998 saw Ralph teamed up with former world champion Damon Hill, and being pitted against a former world champion and a family enemy, plus the fact it was Ralph’s second season in F1, the pressure was on. But the Jordan proved unreliable and it took a long time in the season before either driver was scoring points. Despite this Ralph was showing great speed and maturity in qualifying but the races in the early part of the season again had Ralph going off the circuit or breaking down.By the Belgium Grand prix Ralph had done a deal with Williams and was more then displeased with the Jordan team when he was asked not to pass or attempt to pass his teammate Damon Hill for the lead of the Belgium Grand Prix. It was time to leave and show off his talentts elsewhere. Below is how the season went.
