1997 Like his brother saw Ralph get his first formula one drive for Jordan.But unlike his brother Ralph stayed for more then one grand prix.His first year in formula 1 was a mixed bag, with Ralph spending more time in the gravel then on the track, but this was cause he was learning new circuits and trying to find the limits on them. Despite all of his off road excursions it was obvious to all around the f1 paddock that Ralph was very quick and would win grand prix in the future. His first win nearly coming in just his 3rd grand prix when Ralph had a tangle with his teammate costing him a near curtain victory. Below is how season 1997 panned out for Ralph.
