| UK DUO CHANGE NAME AGAIN - The UK Duo Jemini have once again changed their name..this time to Jamani. After winning the National Final in the UK they had to change their name due to another group having the same name. There were rumours prior to ESC week that they had to change the name yet again..and here it is Jamani |
RUSSIAN REHERSAL & PRESS CONFERENCE: A FARSE - The European Popular duo t.A.T.U. made a farse of the rehersal, during which they never sang properly and instead either one started singing and the other one stopped, or no singing at all. No movements were made by the duo either...One tends to believe that this was done in order to attract press attention and it definately did so...as afterwards the press conference was full of journalists. |

| 20-05-03 SURPRISE VISIT BY EBU TO SOME COUNTRIES DURING VOTING- It was today revealed by Maltasong chairman Charlo Bonnici that this year the EBU (European Broadcasting Union), ESC organisers, will be conducting some surprise visits to various countries during the voting session in order to check that everything is being done fairly. This most probably is being done for the first time as a couple of weeks ago a Norwegian newspaper came out with some rumours that certain counties where agreeing to vote to each other. This year this will be rather impossible to happen as all countries excpet Russia will be using a 100% televote system. |

| MORE REHERSALS TODAY - Today apart from the Maltese rehersal, other participants had their second rehersal. These are: Iceland, Austria, Ireland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Portugal, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Russia, Spain and Israel. All these delegations also had a press conference following the rehersal. |

| POLICE, DOGS & BEAVERS TO GUARD THE SKONTO HALL - Today it was announced by LTV that the high security during the ESC night will consist of Police, police dogs and beavers..though till now no one can understand why beavers will also be used..if you have any ideas please e-mail me. |

| 21-05-2003 MALTA'S 2ND REHERSAL: LYNN'S DRESS REVEALED - The second maltese rehersal took place today afternoon. Lynn's performance changed a bit from the first rehersal as now Lynn after playing the piano adds more movement on the stage than whe was doing before. The information we have so far is that no problems were exoerienced during the rehersal. One surprise though that came out from the rehersal is what lynn will be wearing on the final night as Lynn today rehersed in her Eurovision outfit: A fuschia coloured sleeve less top and white trousers. Lynn's comment on her out fit was that she feels more at ease with colourfull clothes. Regarding Lynn's rehersal unfortunately some journalists are still saying that the song and performance are a bit dull though a positive comment which can be heard from most journalists and people present at the Skonto Hall is that Lynn has a lot of good work with the camera and it will be easy for her to charm the voters at home. Another plus for Lynn is that many also commented that her voice is now much better and she managed to hit all her notes well...More on Lynn's rehersal and performance will be published soon. |
