| 19-05-2003 MALTA ESC2003 WINNER ACCORDING TO 3 DIFFERENT BELGIAN FUTURE TELLERS - Three different future tellers from Belgiun which were contacted by a belgian eurovision site eurosong.be predicted Malta to win this years song contest. All three off themm said the same thing which basically is that there will be a tough vote and a continous battle between two mediterranean islands..Malta and Cyprus having Malta finally emerging as winner. They also predicted Spain, Turkey and Russia to get low placings unlike what internet polls have been predicting...to know who the winner will be we just have to WAIT & SEE..anyway Good luck to Malta!! In the meantime during a press conference when Lynn was asked regarding these predictions she commented that she was going to do her utmost during her 3 minute performance and she won't be encouraged neither discouraged by these predictions and the internet polls predictions which on the other hand predict Malta to end up in the bottom part of the scoreboard. .....EARLIER NEWS |

| MALTA'S FIRST REHERSAL & PRESS CONFERENCE - Lynn Chircop today had her first rehersal on stage. It is now confirmed that Lynn will at first start singing whilst playing the piano and then when the first chorus starts she stans up and continues her performance. The main point that came out from journalists is that Lynn has very good control of the cameras and that she can easily charm the televiewers at home. Though there were journalists who were saying that the Maltese entry is very boring on the other hand many others were enthusiastic on Lynn's charming appearance. During the rehersal several types of clothes and camera work were tried out in order to find the best combination for the final night. During the press conferecce Lynn also managed ot be applauded by Latvian Priminister who happened to be visitng Skonto Hall at that time. |

| ITALIAN EUROVISION FANS COMPLAIN ABOUT RAI - One of the most important Italian Newspapers, La Stamps, today published a letter signed by OGAE Italy website Editor Francesco Morsilli complaining about the way RAI is treating the Eurovision Song Contest. The letter explains that whilst all European Public Broadcasters will be broadcasting the Eurovision Song Contest Live Next Saturday, RAI is once again since 1997 not tranmitting the contest. |
