EUROVISION WEEK STARTS IN RIGA
-  Eurovision week has now officialy started in Riga.  The main activity to mark the beginning of the Eurovision was held today at Skonto Hall, the venue for this year's song contest, where all the flags of the partcicpating countries were where lifted on the many poles outside.  The group F.L.Y. who will be singing the Latvian song lifted the Latvian flag while the other flags of the other participating countries were lifted by the Latvian hosts which are assigned to every country's delegation.

LYNN FLIES TO RIGA-
Today Lynn left Malta to Riga on an Airmalta chartered flight to Riga which was three hours long.  Lynn today spent most of her afternoon in her hotel room catching up on her beaty sleep after an instensive promotional campaign all around Europe.  Accompanying Lynn there is the Maltese Maltasong delegation headed by Mr. Charlo Bonnici, Norman Hamilton FIDOF vice-president, 2 Television crews one from PBS and another from Super 1 T.V., Lynn's family as well as Eurovision fans from Malta who this year once again got the opportunity to find a maltese organised tour to the ESC thanks to Hamilton Travel.  Meanwhile tomorrow will mark Lynn's first rehersal on stage which will be followed by a press conference. UNOFFICIAL VIDEO FOR MALTESE ENTRY TO BE LAUNCHED TOMORROW -
An unofficial promotional video will be launched tomorrow for the Maltese entry at Paceville.  The video which has been produced by Bonaci Media Entertainment voluntarily after this year Maltasong committe opted not to produce the video and instead invest the Lm 5,000 in a better promotional tour for Lynn.

2003 STAGE: A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER-

MALTASONG CHAIRMAN TO STEP DOWN.-
Charlo Bonnici will be stepping down from chairman once this year's ESC is over.  After having held the post for 3 years he said he feels that he has given all he could and it is time to move on.  He will also this week be ending his job at MPS Ltd. as he has been offered the post of personal secretary to the education minister. However he said that his resignation from chairman has nothing to do with his new post in the Education ministry
