LYNN's EUROVISION TOUR KICKS OFF -
Maltasong chairman Charlo Bonnici confirmed that lynn has begun her Eurovision tour and yesterday left Barcelona and was on her way to Ukraine.  She has also already visited Cyprus.  She is now expected to visit the UK, Poland, Greece & Austria.  Visits to Israel, Latvia and Ireland though planned have not been materialised/

PHILIP VELLA PART OF UKRANIAN DELEGATION IN RIGA -
Famous Maltese composer Philip Vella will be making part of the Ukranian delegation in Riga after having been invited by Olexandr, Ukrania's singer.  In February Philip was invited by the Ukranian delegation as a Eurovision expert in order to help Olexandr get ready for Eurovision and also to help him in the pronounciation of the Englsh Lyrics.

Philip is best known for his success in last year's Eurovision, where his song 7th Wonder sung by Ira Losco placed 2nd.  He also was the composer of Desire in 2000 and many more songs in the Malta Song For Europe.  This year Philip also had a song in the Dutch National Final.  His song Heatwave sung by the trio Ebonique placed 4th.

MEDITERRANEAN PARTY IN RIGA -
For the second time some mediterranean countries have teamed up together in organising a party during Eurovision week.  This year the party will be slightly larger with the addtion of Greece.  The countried taking part are MALTA, SPAIN, CYPRUS & GREECE.

LYNN OFFERED RECORD DEAL WITH TOP LABEL - It is now confirmed that Lynn has sealed a deal with top record label ZYX Music GMbH.  For the first time a maltese singer has been offered a record deal with a top label prior to the Eurovision Song Contest. Lynn has a two and a half year contract to produce 2 singles and a CD.
