Jessica - I grew up in Heflin, LA and attended church at Heflin Baptist Church from the time I was born until I was around 16 years.  I decided that I didn't need to be in church anymore and I turned my back on everything about the church.  I graduated from Sibley High School in Sibley, LA in 2000.  (It no longer exists; we were the last class to graduate.)  After that I went to Northwest Louisiana Technical College and completed the Drafting and Design course.  When I was 19 I accepted Christ as my Personal Savior and started attending New Hope Baptist Church in Athens, LA, where I began teaching the Children's Sunday School Class.  I met my husband,Tim, and we married on Feb. 8, 2003. We live in Minden, LA, operating a home based business together.  Jan. 8, 2007 I started working as a teller at a local bank.  I also create Specialty Cakes.

Jack - I was born and raised in Athens, LA and attended New Hope Baptist Church until I was about 10 yrs. old. Then my family moved to Clinton, MO because of my dad's job change. I was very depressed when we moved, but we found a great church family there at Good Hope Baptist Church. (Coincidence?!?!?). Then about 6 years later we found ourselves headed straight back to Athens because of my dad's job AGAIN! Now of all the places in the U.S. we could have went, back to Athens. (Is that you Lord? Why, I believe it is!) Anyway, I got to come back to my home church. And got reacquainted with everyone there and really with my family too. I found out my cousin Jessica was teaching Sunday School and I wanted to help, so I did. I've been there every since.
I graduated from Athens High School, and am currently employed at an advertisement shop in Minden, LA.

Mrs. Flo - The last thing Mrs. Flo ever thought she would end up doing is being main audio equipment control woman to this amazing group of singers, and actually enjoying it to boot.  In fact, she finds going to the practices and performances emotionally uplifting and inspiring no matter how cranky she is feeling upon arrival. Even when it's 40 degrees with the wind blowing.  Even when the "kids" (she's prime time age) tease her unmercifully because she's gullible.  Even when her son Matt sings off key when the girls are doing their duet and doesn't see her with her hand over her mouth, begging for him to be quiet.  Even when...well, you get the idea.  She loves every minute of it, because she considers the members of this group to be a blessing and because they sing with such spirit--and sound fantastic, too. Mrs. Flo, in her civilian life, (read: when she's not being a crew person), likes crocheting and knitting for babies in need across the USA and works as a writer. She also loves the Lord and is grateful to be saved.

Matt - Matt is a special young man with autism and mental handicaps.  A Louisiana native, he first went to Sunday School and church at First Baptist of Bossier City, at age 11, when he was ready to learn about Jesus.  He had a wonderful teacher there for years, Mrs. Lillian Scott, who taught him to memorize the Lord's Prayer and to do puzzles, and acquainted him with many stories of the Bible, and cheered him on at bowling, his favorite sport. Matt then moved with his parents to the countryside, where he attended a Methodist church and was invited to sing solos occasionally to the congregation, an inspiration to many.  A few years later he switched to New Hope Baptist Church.  There, when the young people of Attitude of Gratitude learned that he had a love of singing, they invited him to be in their group, and he was adopted as a cousin, to his mother's delight.  (She couldn't think of a better bunch of young people for him to be related to.)  Matt's spectacular memory helps him to learn the songs AOG sings by heart, and it is with a big heart and lots of enthusiasm for the Lord that he sings them.
Aunt Sue - Jessica is my youngest child and as you can tell I am the aunt of the rest of the members.  I am very proud of all the members of Attitude of Gratitude and attempt to support and encourage them in this ministry.  I was drafted awhile ago as backup for Flo.  I am the mother of 3 grown children and have 3 grandchildren.  I live with my mother, Maude Stovall, (Attitude of Gratitude's Grandmother) and enjoy raising vegetables.  We have dogs, cats, chickens and ducks.  God has blessed our efforts with farming so that we have ample food stored for the winter as well as sharing with our family and friends.  My time is spent working at my place of employment, in my church or around the house.
