Govt. industrial estate

This is the only one industrial estate in kerala under the ministry of labor Govt. of India ,more than 25 company  from rubber product to food product is operating in this estate. This estate is near to rail way station and govt. ITI .  Govt. of  India  production center is one main industry in this estate this is run by small scale industry development  board govt. India. They are also providing training for the ITI completed students. A lot of private industries  also operating in this  estate. there are plenty of positive factors for the development of industries, the main factors are availability of raw material and man power.

Midas rubbers
    This is the one of the private companies operating in Ettumanoor Industrial estate, they are the manufactures of    retread rubber and other rubber products in India.

Kohinoor  roller Flower mills
   Their product ranges from rava ,atta, maida  and a Variety of  wheat products. This company is also functioning in this estate.

Rail way station
   This is one of the smallest railway stations in kerala mainly for  passenger  and goods trains. Venad express is the only one express train stops in this rail way station.

Govt ITI
    One of the oldest and well equipped ITI in kerala, almost all trades  from  electronics  to  blacksmith is available in this ITI. This is   just 1/2 km away from the town on the way to railway station.

Kottayam Medical College
    This medical college is about  6 km away from Ettumanoor on the way to kottayam situated in  Gandhinager . One children's hospital is also  functioning, just 1/2 km away from the  medical college hospital.

M G University

    Head quarters of  Mahatma Gandhi University (M.G) one of the  famous  universities  of  Kerala is situated in Athirampuzha just 3 km away from Ettumanoor

Mannanam Church and K E College
       Mannanam is the one of the famous  Syrian catholic church contains the st.joseph monastery , associated with the name of  Fr. kuriyakose Elias of chavara.
K. E college, (Kuriyakose Elias College) One of the famous    college in kottayam   is   about  5 km away from Ettumanoor  on the way to Kottayam .They also manages an     English medium school.
