OK ... I lied about the website being back like a well oiled machine. I have to start packing again since our move to the new apartment will be taking place this week. Pray for us ... seriously. In the meantime... here are some funny videos to look at while I get things back to normal.

And on the 9th day ... God created Potatoes. Boil em ... mash em ... stick em in a stew.
Man ... it sure has been a long time since the last update ... so this one is going to be a dozy.
First ... a tornado has touched down on Wyoming and Starkweather as Rob and I have begun packing up for our big move to Grand Blanc. The trailor is outside in the driveway and just begging to be filled up. We’re hoping that we can get most of the stuff moved Friday ...but who knows.
Back to school ... I love getting an education in a field that I’m probably not going to end up in.
Like everyone else ... I made a few New Years Resolutions ... or in this case ... Grand Blanc resolutions.
- I’m giving up all drinks with calories besides beer maybe once a month. Also ... the meals will be much more healthy this year than in the past.
Exercise at least 3 times a week playing DDR.
-Not to skip class as much.
-To sit down and write at least once a week.
More news ... I heard someone utter the funniest phrase of the year thus far. “In the Green Bay game ... Rex Grossman was as ugly as Renee Zellweger mid-sneeze.
Website Stuff
It would be awesome if everyone of the fellas submitted a quick bio so I can get the fellas corner section of the website up and running well. There is a ton of potential for some awesome achieving on there and I’ll get it going in a couple of weeks.
I will be teaching Rob how to do this ish soon now so “the Robert Perspective” should be up in the coming month.
There are over 500 pictures on the website from the past and present. I’ve uploaded close to 200 in the last month that are brand new. If anyone has an online album or pictures they want online ... either send me a link or the pictures and I’ll put them up and give proper credit. [email protected]

The 360 just hit 10 million shipped last month and every system that has hit 10 million first ends up winning the war. (this generation is a little different because the Wii is so much cheaper than the rest) This is because the publishers usually don't give good exclusives to the system that has the smaller install-base. The 360 will be getting all the best games which is the opposite of what happened last year.

This is crazy stuff guys. Sony is truly losing it's grip on these important games. GTA is the killer though. Those games sold about 20 million copies each on the PS2 when they were exclusive. Owch.

I watched Crank the other morning and I must say ... this is a really fun movie. I love Jason Statham (Turkish) and he was fucking awesome in this movie. It's quite a bit over the top at times ... but that just adds to the greatness of this movie.
I only gave it an 8 because I don't think a movie like this belongs up there with the really great movies.
But as far as guilty pleasure action movies go ... this is as good as it gets. Watch it.

This movie was above average. It had me laughing out loud at several parts ... expecilly some of the subtle Owen Wilson one liners ("This is extremely important ... that's why I gave you permission to skip school.)
Also ... Seth Rogen was great in this movie too (he was the guy who played Cal in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin")
That being said ... I hate Matt Dillion playing a normal guy ... he blew 7 different kinds of nuts.
Oh yeah ... and Kate Hudson is hot ... but she needs boobs.

Wow... chad and the other couch were right ... I never should have even starting watching this movie. IT NEVER PICKED UP. It was just as boring at the end as the beginning. The only good thing about this movie is that there was a dude in it that only worked out one side of his body ... and you see that in the 1st 5 minutes. Wow.
Mr. M. Night Shyamalan ... hang your head in shame young man. Someone will be over shortly to take away your director's chair and to punch you in the throat.

I heard it is getting pretty good scores in EGM ... and I think I'm going to pick it up. I'm not sure what the multiplayer is like on it ... but is supposed to be like Grand Theft Auto but instead of a criminal ... you play a cop with super powers. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? I'm sold!

Ok ... I don't know if you know it or not ... but my iPod has been broken since October. And I've been putting off going to get it fixed for 3 months now in fear of the fee they were going to slap me with ... but Thursday ... I decided to travel to Somerset Mall to go to the Apple Store.
And Let me tell you all ... I won big time.
First of all ... Somerset has to be the snootiest mall I’ve ever seen in my life. I was wearing your basic T-shirt and Jeans with a leather coat ensemble... (you know ... Flint dress code) ... and man I felt underdressed. When I stepped into the Apple store ... I was informed I had to make an appointment with the “iPod bar.” Luckily ... I was able to make an appointment for an hour later.
When it finally became my turn ...
Me: Yeah ... my iPod is broken. The sound only comes out of the left side of headphones.
Counter Help: Did you try a different set of headphones?
Me: Of Course.
Counter Help: Ok ... let me take a look. (He takes it from me and plugs in a pair of headphones) Yeah... this is broken. Is this still under warranty?
Me: I’m not sure.
Counter Help: Let me check ... (He looks it up) ... Wow ... you got lucky ... you have 3 weeks left on the warranty for this issue. Let me go get you a new iPod.
At this point ... inner-Mike was doing the Mexican Hat Dance and he brought me a brand new “scratch-free” black 30 gig iPod. It was so beautiful I nearly wept. IN order to keep it that way ... I bought an overpriced clear plastic cover for it ... but you know what? I couldn’t care less ... because it is so pretty.
I win.

Another one of those extremely predictable comedies. Luke Wilson and Uma Thurman are not bad together ... but the storyline is pretty weak. Made me laugh a few times and the end was hilarious ... but just a little above average.
I mean ... any movie where a shark is thrown through a window must be given a chance...right?

I must say ... in this case ... an 8 is almost disapointing to me. With this cast ... Dane Cook ... Dax Shepard ... Harlond Williams ... Andy Dick ... Jessica Simpson (well ... not so much) ... but this move should have been amazing.
Dane was very funny but he was suported well by the rest of the cast ... besides Simpson who mine as well not have had any lines. Extremely funny movie that you should watch! Believe it or not ... Andy Dick had the funniest line in the movie. (Not the one mentioned above)

I don't really mind. Half of the population is expendable anyways. Oh wait, they want to INCREASE the amount of Japs? I can't say I go for that one bit. That's just more people to completely lie to me and tell me my Japanese is fantastic and that it's amazing that I can use chopsticks. Then again, that's the gaijin view.

The g/f and I rented this movie the other night and I have to say it was the definition of mediocre. It had the basic skeleton of a plot that you would expect out of any military/training movie where you have an old man(Costner) that is good at something that comes into train the young, cocky recruit(Kutcher).
It contains the usual confrontation scene, and the "heart wrenching" moment where they come clean to each other on life issues and become friends. Not to mention I didnt like the ending that much.

I got to say, I didnt know what to expect going into this movie, but after I watched it I was very pleasantly surprised. Most of it is very subtle humor, which I am usually not a fan of, but they did this in a great way that parodied alot of things in our everyday world(at least here in America). You would think the main character was a douche in real life if you ran into him, but the movie almost makes you like the guy. I also like the M.O.D. squad (especially the guns' rights advocate guy).
