| Tuesday, April 6, 2004 [3:50pm] This quarter seems like it�s going to be beyond lame. I actually liked last quarter (prob my favorite quarter of my ucla career�I�m such a geek), and now I'm not looking forward to biochem, or any of my classes for that matter. Today, one of my phy sci professors was introducing himself and was all, �Please come visit me during office hours�it gets lonely sometimes. We don�t have to talk about the class�professors like talking about science. So we can talk about science.� He was too excited about science. I think he�s high on his receptor cells and G-proteins� =/ Things have been so bleh since break� I want to go back to Tahoe and board and chill in the picture-perfect house. It was nice to get away from LA. I want some more of Karin�s ingenious invention of Smirnoff ice cream floats. Mmmmm... And I�ve been so depressed because I miss my hubbies of n.e.r.d. & the hot chick of black eyed peas (her abs make me melt). They were so beautiful at the concert & amazing performers. I swear I caught pharrell making eye contact with me!!! And omg, j.timberlake made a surprise appearance�when he came out I think I almost fainted. The concert was like the highlight of my year. And now everything else is so drab in comparison. |

| Friday, April 2, 2004 [2:30pm] currently at work. my boss is out of town visiting the super JSB in Japan so I'm running things here. HA. or just sitting here. last time I was left "in charge" I didn't lock the front door properly and so it was WIDE open over the weekend and poor shoji had to come from home and lock it. oops. went snowboarding yesterday with kiki @ snow summit to use our free tix from ski dazzle. although we drove twice as long as the time spent boarding cuz he didn't have pants so he was practically frozen in his wet jeans. plus the snow sucked. it was fun for the whole hour and a half on the mountain. i got to drive his new truck up the mountain--you should have seen me maneuver around the curves and through the rain and fog of death. i think keith was scared shitless. on our way back down keith had to fulfill his urge to go "off-roading" by driving on someone's private property. we were sure someone was waiting to shoot us with their shotgun, but thankfully we made it out alive. =O kiki in his jeans. crazy monkey. Thursday, April 22, 2004 [11:22am] Two words: Major Headache. I am finding that things can be very discouraging and frustrating when you commit yourself to something that falls short of your expectations. I guess the same can hold true for people. Fortunately, in this case, it is people (certain wonderful people, might I add) that keep me going and are the very backbone of my perseverance. On a brighter note, HAPPY EARTH DAY! Take care of your environment & let everyday be a Earth Day! Tuesday, April 27, 2004 [2:01pm] Perfect beach weather! I wanna go bodyboarding. But not with Brandon cuz he�s too crazy and likes the monster waves that make me wanna quit after one ride. I wanna go swimming too. But too bad it�s midterm-time. I�m starting to see friends at all the wrong places. Saw random peoples last night while I was studying at Powell. In case you haven�t heard, Powell is the new hang out spot. Ha. And I just ran into thomas and his big happy smile at SLC. Just a note: he was doing his homework for his class on the statistics and strategies of BOARD GAMES. I can totally see him getting a Ph.D in that....=P APHC had our Chinatown Community Health Fair this past Sunday and it was a successful event. Everyone did a really good job of putting it together. Some people were disappointed with the turnout (supposedly last year was really busy), but we had just as many participants as last year, so maybe things just seemed slow. Highlight: Lee�s sandwiches for lunch. =) Wednesday, April 28, 2004 [9:19am] today is going to be a horrible day. i can feel it. within only an hour of being awake i've started my raggity ann, have major cramps, got a headache from having to look retarded and missed class because i looked so awkward. and now i'm all uncomfortable and sweating up a storm in our sauna or so-called apartment. i need ice cream for reasons more than one. but i do hope your day is wonderful and full of smiles. |
