FINE
ART SCHOOLS WORLDWIDE
Grasshopper,
the world is full of art schools, and the world is full of art teachers.
Does this mean that all art schools and all art teachers are the same?
You are the only person who can decide.
All I can do is point you in the direction of art schools and art teachers
who will give you the real deal regarding Classical drawing and painting
skills and training.
Just because I have listed them does NOT mean that they are the perfect
teacher or school. It does not mean that they will cover the whole gamut
of knowledge to be gained or even be very groovy people.
What I DO promise is that any person or school listed here
1. Teaches the Classical tradition or a derivative
2. Teaches it in reasonable depth
3. Is worth going to.
Whether you get value for money I cannot say. The simple truth is that
you are your own best teacher, and you must be determined to learn and
learn and practice and practice and as Winston Churchill once said "Never
give in, Never give in, Never give in". Keep your dream alive, try
not to be consumed by your EGO (harder to do than it sounds) and above
all find the buzz in your quest. You are trying to climb a great mountain
to become a mighty artist! You are not couch spud who "cant draw
a stick man" and lets the TV live their life for them. You are the
ARTIST AS HERO.
Good for you!!
