IUP held a D and under Foil, Epee and Saber event on October 21st in Gym B of IUP's Zink Hall.  During the event, IUP used for the first time the Birmingham Fencing Clubs Point Control program to manage the event. After a quick but steep learning curve, the program proved it's worth in managing the competition.  I recommend this program to anyone hosting an event that also has a laptop and printer that they can bring to a site.  More information can be obtained at :  http://www.pointcontrol.com/

The Foil event ended up as a group D1 tournament, awarding   1 D and 3 E's.

Mr. Greg Collins won the tournament in first place and renewed his D rating
