Who We Are

The primary fencing presence in North-Central Pennsylvania, the IUP fencing club is a club level sport organization at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Our atmosphere is informal yet competitive, welcoming both beginning and experienced fencers alike. We are a USFA member club, and we hold (or try to hold) two USFA sanctioned tournaments per year. We also attend tournaments throughout the Pennsylvania region.

Brief Overview

The vast majority of our members are students at IUP; however, everyone is welcome. Equipment is available for those who do not choose to buy their own; although we encourage dedicated members to purchase their own equipment. Practice is held three times per week, and additional impromptu practices are subject to break out at any time in the Oak Grove on the campus at IUP (during the spring and early fall).
