- 5'-11.5", 195 lbs., greying blond hair (receding, long, pony tail), beard/mustache, blue eyes, 48 years old (10/8/1955), and in good physical condition. Oh, it's a birthmark, and no it doesn't bother me. Picture isn't real good, but it's the most recent one I've got. (I didn't take this one).

- A senior software engineer. Currently I am a contractor at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA (www.jpl.nasa.gov).   I am currently the Cognizant Development Engineer (CDE) for the Simulation subsystem of the Advanced Multi-Mission Operations System (AMMOS), which is used to process data from the vast majority of flying research spacecraft. I program in C++, C, Perl, and shell scripts.

- An instructor for UCLA Extension (www.uclaextension.edu). I have taught:
    - X Windows/Motif programming
    - Advanced C programming
    - Introduction to UNIX
    - Intermediate UNIX
    - UNIX Shell Scripting
    - Sun/Solaris UNIX System Administration I
    - Sun/Solaris UNIX System Adminsitration II

- A member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (www.sca.org). There I am known as Lord Erich von Drachenholz, patriarch of Haus Drachenholz. (www.geocities.com/drachenholz - currently down). We have members in three kingdoms, but the heads of house reside in the Kingdom of Caid (www.sca-caid.org), in the Barony of the Angels. See my SCA page.

- An amateur photographer. Any of the shots you see on this site were taken by me. Look under my Photography page and particularly my SCA page.

- A Dungeon Master (no, not that kind). Also known as a Game Master. I run Dungeons and Dragons games for some friends, when I have time (which is about twice a year). See my D&D page.

I've posted game notes my wife has made here. I find them both fascinating and amusing. Meanwhile check out web pages on of the players has made based on events and accumulated knowledge advernturing in my world here.

- A Scientologist. (www.scientology.org). I am Clear. While I am not currently on lines, my last action was the Saint Hill Special Briefing Course (SHSBC). I am nearly complete on Level D.
