Second Quarter 2018 -- Lair No. 3


Meeting at the Doylestown Maennerchor Society on June 16, 2108, Lair No. 3 heard a Rascal Challenge presentation by Leon Moscherosch. He was challenged to bring back the history of the so-called Findley Braden House in Doylestown. The house was built in 1871 by Preston Price and is named for Findley Braden, who owned the house from 1911 to 1940. Mr. Braden's wife has the distinction of having written the "Doylestown Centennial March" in 1838. Not that anyone has ever heard that piece of music since!
